“In certain regions, the phone may be equipped with an Exynos chipset, while in others, it might come with a Snapdragon chipset, as reported by Express Photo.
Last month, the Samsung Galaxy S23 FE was spotted on the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) website, which serves as India’s product certification agency. A Samsung executive had previously confirmed that the company was in the process of developing a Fan Edition (FE) phone. Now, the device has appeared on TENAA, China’s certification authority, revealing key features of the upcoming Samsung Galaxy S23 FE.
As initially discovered by Slashleaks, the Galaxy S23 FE has been listed on TENAA, and accompanying product images suggest that the upcoming phone will closely resemble the standard Galaxy S23.
While the images do not unveil anything new compared to previous leaks, they do confirm that the Galaxy S23 FE will support 5G connectivity and will be powered by an octa-core chipset with a clock speed of up to 2.99GHz.
The TENAA listing also confirms that the phone will be equipped with a 4,370mAh battery that supports 25W fast charging. On the rear, you will find a 50MP primary camera, accompanied by an 8MP ultrawide lens and a 12MP telephoto lens with 3x optical zoom.
In contrast to the US version, which is expected to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, the TENAA listing suggests that the Chinese variant may be equipped with the Exynos 2200 chipset. Additionally, it appears that the upcoming phone will be slightly smaller than its predecessor, the Galaxy S21 FE, featuring a 6.3-inch AMOLED screen. Other specifications include 8GB of RAM and two storage options: 128GB and 256GB.
According to recent rumors, the base variant of the Galaxy S23 FE is expected to be priced around Rs 54,999, while the 256GB version may have a price tag of Rs 59,999. To provide some context, this pricing is consistent with what the Galaxy S21 FE was launched at last year.
However, there is currently no official information regarding the phone’s release date, so we may need to wait for Samsung’s official announcement for further details.”
